At branch level everything we do is run by us, volunteering our spare time with a number of different roles.
You could join us by volunteering whether this be by joining the committee, training to become an Association Visitor, campaigning, fundraising, or helping out at one of our fundraising events.
Association Visitors play an important role in supporting people with MND and their carers. This includes home visits, and providing support over email and telephone. If you are interested in becoming an Association Visitor you will be fully supported and undertake training for this role.
You can sign up to the Campaign Network to receive regular updates and information about how you can get involved such as signing a petition or sending a letter to your local MP.
You could also become a trained campaigner and join the MND Association's team of Campaigns Contacts. Current campaigns include Champion the Charter, and campaigning to scrap reassessments of disability benefits for people with MND.
If you are interested in volunteering with us or would like to any more information then please contact Claire Tuckett, Regional Volunteering Development Coordinator
