Branch Support Services
We offer a range of support services at the branch, including those mentioned below. If you would like to know more about how the West Dorset Branch may be able to help you or someone you know, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We provide practical support through our trained Association Visitors who keep in regular contact by telephoning and/or visiting people in their homes.
We hold support meetings at various garden centres across Dorset throughout the year. These meetings are open to people with MND and their carers, and are a chance to meet up and have a chat with others in a similar position. If you would like to know more about these meetings then do not hesitate to get in touch with us or to ask your Association Visitor. See our Garden Centre Meetings page for a list of upcoming dates.
We can help through the supply or loan of specialised equipment. Examples of items MNDA can usually support with include rise and recline armchairs, and communication aids. Please speak to your Association Visitor for more information about this. Alternatively contact the MND Support service team please call 01604 611802, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
